The Global Wellness Summit is an organization that brings together leaders and visionaries to positively shape the future of the multi-trillion-dollar global wellness economy. In addition to an annual conference held at a different location around the globe, GWS also hosts regular virtual gatherings, including Wellness Master Classes, Wellness Sector Spotlights and Investor “Reverse Pitch” events. The organization’s annual Global Wellness Trends Report offers expert-based predictions on the future of wellness. The next GWS will be held in Boston, US, November 30–December 3, 2021.

Join Welltech1 to hear first-hand from Jess Mabis about The Brandery.

The Brandery is a nationally-ranked accelerator that leverages the expertise of the Cincinnati region, namely branding, marketing, and design. In addition to an elite mentor network, startups are paired with world-class creative agencies and have access to some of the biggest companies in the world, including Procter & Gamble and Kroger. The Brandery runs one,12-week accelerator program a year for five companies. The participating startups each receive $100K, a year of free office space, and over $200K in additional benefits.

Arik Zeevi is an Olympic bronze medal finalist in the 2004 Summer Olympics Judo 100 kg class in Athens, and had participant in 4 more Olympic competitions.

This lecture combines Arik’s personal stories and analysis of various situations that he has faced in the past as a competitive Olympic athlete.

The lecture will be held in Hebrew.

After beginning a career in the retailing field in various roles, he founded Streetwise – Creative Sales Agency, which specializes in improving marketing and sales processes for businesses. The company was founded in 2011 and has worked with dozens of companies in Israel and abroad.

Between Privacy & Wellness. Workshop on GDPR

Ever since fully entered into force on May 2018, the GDPR has created a framework with the goal of allowing people to control how is their information is being collected, and have an impact on how will that information be used and stored.

In our workshop, we will cover the key points of GDPR, such as the requirement for freely given consent, right to be forgotten and transparency, and their unique impact on Wellness Technology in general, and applicability of GDPR in Israel.

Doing business in the US - the right way

The workshop will cover the differences in business culture between Israelis and Americans and how to overcome them - from the minor mishaps founders might do on the interpersonal level, to how to present their company in a way that will match the expectations of large American companies.
