The Global Wellness Summit is an organization that brings together leaders and visionaries to positively shape the future of the multi-trillion-dollar global wellness economy. In addition to an annual conference held at a different location around the globe, GWS also hosts regular virtual gatherings, including Wellness Master Classes, Wellness Sector Spotlights and Investor “Reverse Pitch” events. Ever since fully entered into force on May 2018, the GDPR has created a framework with the goal of allowing people to control how is their information is being collected, and have an impact on how will that information be used and stored.
In our workshop, we will cover the key points of GDPR, such as the requirement for freely given consent, right to be forgotten and transparency, and their unique impact on Wellness Technology in general, and applicability of GDPR in Israel.
